Why choose a combination antioxidant?
Different feedstuffs and fats require different antioxidant protection. Therefore, you should always choose a mixed antioxidant like Haltox which has a few different ingredients to provide the broadest possible spectrum of activity.
Counter the harmful effects of oxidation with Haltox...
Oxidation is the single most important chemical factor that determines “off-flavour” and overall freshness of feeds. Haltox controls the oxidation of fats, oils and other unstable substrates occuring in feeds and feed ingredients. By controlling oxidation:
Haltox helps preserves...
- the flavor & quality of fats added to feed or present in the feed ingredients
- xanthophylls, the carotenoids used as pigmentation
- carotene, vitamin A and vitamin E
- the potency of fat-soluble vitamins
- the nutritive value of feeds
- the palatability of feeds
Directions for use
Feed - Mix 125 g per ton of feed.
Meat/Fish Meal - Mix 250 g per ton of raw material.
Feather Meal - Mix 250 g per ton of raw material.
Note: Usage rate depends on level and type of fats and oils added to the particular feed
Storage
Store in a cool and dry place. Avoid direct heat and sunlight. Store away from toxic chemicals.
