Quick footwork, team work and a lot of laughs accompanied the latest round of the Young Farmer Challenge at Wagin Woolorama Saturday last weekend.
Kelly Gorter, Rural Ambassador 2021, oversaw the crazy antics as teams battled out various tasks to win the Challenge.
"We give the teams tasks such as rolling a swag, milking a "cardboard" cow, marking a "virtual" lamb, catching eggs and penning up. It's great fun and this year was no exception," said Kelly.
ZAGRO sponsored the Young Farmer Challenge and WA Territory Sales Manager Marcia Devenney said: "I was laughing so hard as the teams scrambled to get each task done. They were great competitors and we were really pleased to support such a fun event."
The winners go forward to the national event later in the year which will be a virtual event.
